Title: The State of Japan
Post by: IcePhreak on November 14, 2013, 04:10:15 PM
I seen your forum on SMF and couldn't help to see if it was based from Japan. if so, I need to know.

I have a few quesitons about the state of Japan now.
1. Have you heard anything from your government about the state of the Fukushima Powerplants?
2. If so, how bad is it? Is it as bad as they say?

I probably don't know anymore than you IcePhreak, just what I read or see on the news. I'm sure the government is hiding some crucial facts but there's not much one can do about it. I've read alarmist blogs that say we are facing another Chernobyl to government interviews saying everything's okay. I guess we're fortunate in that we live quite a long way from Fukushima.

This is pretty relevant to the spread of the radiation. It's already hit the U.S. pretty bad.

This is a good article with a link to a real time monitor - http://qz.com/121562/monitoring-the-spreading-radiation-from-fukushima-in-real-time/

BTW that isn't a spread of radiation map. It shows the spread of the post-earthquake tsunami.
