Hey Guys, Glad you finally put a thread in for Seki. I usually board Suginohara when I come up from Kansai but love coming to Seki for a change. Some days the powder is so good there you need a snorkel.  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D One local told me it's the snowiest place in Japan. Get outta here! Is that true? I would've thought somewhere like Hokkaido or further north. Did you also know that Seki Onsen was the only Japan ski resort represented in the Travel Channel's recent "Skiers World" series?
A bad day snowboarding is waaaay better than a good day at work

Well, as with so many things in Japan...it may be true...it may be not...depending on who is providing the stats...

Only research I could quickly find was this...
Japan's Niseko resort area, which averages an astonishing 595 inches per season, is No. 2 in the world.

Anyone can do research in Japanese? I'd be interested to know...
